Highlights from Open Source Experience fair
On 6 and 7 December, Open Food Facts attended the annual #OSXP2023 event in Paris. The show focuses on open source technologies, solutions and challenges in France and Europe, and highlights the driving role of open source innovations in the digital transformation of organisations.
“In a world where digital technology is becoming more pervasive by the day, there is one area where growth is even more pronounced than any other: open source. The reason is simple: these open technologies are a perfect response to the new issues of sovereignty, sustainability and transparency that are driving states, local authorities and businesses, all of whom are concerned about protecting their data.”
Open Source Experience team
Over the two days of the event, we welcomed many curious visitors to our stand in the Non-profit Village.
Alexandre, an Open Food Facts contributor, was there on the first day to help welcome visitors at our booth, share his experience as a contributor and inform about the project.
Thank you very much, Alexandre!
Another Alex, from the permanent team, gave a talk on our experience of managing an Open Data community.
It was a very rich time of exchange with people who were discovering our project, potential partners, but also with fellow Open Source members. A great 3rd Edition overall !
