Who are you and how do you contribute to Open Food Facts?
I’m Marie, a French former board member, contributing to Open Food Facts since 2017. I add products if they’re not already in the database, complete their page with data, pictures…, help various projects if my abilities allow me to (Green-Score, packaging and many other previous ones), and fix up quality data.
What’s your main motivation to contribute to this effort?
I initially discovered Open Food Facts while searching for nutritional informations (I think), and loved (and still do!) its goal of food transparency.
More data = more awareness = more nutritious and/or substainable products.
What do you do besides Open Food Facts activities?
Cooking, running, walking, working out, reading and doing jigsaws are my main leasures.
